Wow! I have so many ideas that I want to implement in my classroom next year. I so wish that I could figure out how to implement blended learning in my classroom. If only we had a device for all students, or were a bring your own device school.
I would love to create some multi media text sets, especially for my new science content for the upcoming school year. I think giving students the resources to further research their current interests is such a powerful tool. This shows students that things they do online is another way to learn, and not just watch funny videos on YouTube or play games all the time.
I also would love to set up a blog with my students to document our reading journey through the 40 Book Challenge. I love the idea of the students writing a blog post each week instead of completing a Reading Response Journal entry. This allows them more access to technology and the opportunity to become more familiar with it, including things like spelling/grammar check and formatting.
